This trip was exactly what I needed. I would encourage all graduates who are considering this trip to go. No matter what your next step in life is (college, work, travel, whatever your going on to do with your life!) it is amazing how clear your thoughts become when your surrounded by breeze through the trees, trickling waters, and great company! This trip surpassed my expectations (and they were pretty high expectations, considering that Mr. Scaglione had been talking about this trip all year) and truly made this 2008 summer one I will never forget. Good eats, art treats, workout, and time to get to know the amazing people around you! This trip would be amazing to get away at any stage of high school or college; as these times are when our lives change so much, so quickly. Take advantage of the morning yoga, creative sparks that surround you, kick-start at getting in shape, and the time to sort out anxious or troubled thoughts. BackCountry SketchBook 2008 was amazing and I’m sure our 2009 experience will be nothing less than exceptional! See you there!
